Ok more updates. Sorry about the delay.

So I made a pieces to hang from my belt, just some grenades and a tool of some sort.



And this tool.



I created my Shin plates, still working on painting them, but here is what they look like.


And on the leather.

Ok RL has been crazy, but here is a small update. 

Now almost everyone has been making axes for their EC kit, so I decided to go the route of a spear and kinda base it off the comic pictures. And sorry these are not the best pictures in the world.  Going to try and finish up the last little bit and do app pics this weekend or the next.

Yay, early-crusader-spears! :D

Looks great and I really like how we did the same and it came out totally different.
I have also a spear, oriented at the comics and a leather wrapping around the middle, but our spears look no way related :D

Looking forward, to see the whole kit :)

It a wooden painters pole, stripped the shiny off of it and stained it.  The spear head is a painter roller, cut just before the bend the rest is cardboard, fiberglass and a little bondo.  I have some pictures of the process somewhere, I'll find them and put them up.

OK sorry for the delay about updates. Never, ever try to sew a flight suit without patterns and without a dressing dummy. It was taking me so long because I was creating the patterns on myself and pinning on myself...

So Far I've just about finished my flight suit. Here are some pictures. I don't have the cuffs done yet, or the Velcro sewed into the collar yet, but this should give you all an idea.

Then after it's finished, I plan on weathering it with some charcoal dust , a little air brushing and maybe some gum Arabic.
