I've been toying around with an idea for a blaster which looks a bit like this:
It's just the mock-up of the design done with cardboard.
The front is based on the Westar-35 blaster and the plan is to have that cover up the whole orange front bit, have it nicely moulded onto the front so it's not just slapped onto the front.
It's going to get a folding stock like the Spas-12, that means the top rail is going to get sawn off
The empty bit in the middle is going to house a hexagonal cannister, about the width of the original bulge on the sides of the frame which I'm also going to make hexagonal.
On both sides I'm thinking of putting a hunting scope like Chewbacca's bowcaster, with the scope mounts probably mounted onto the hexagonal bit.
I'm definitely giving the gun a sideways magazine, something short and wide I think and I'm going to do a load of sanding/bondo work on the body to de-nerfify it as much as I can.
So what do you all think ?
EDIT:
Oh also !
Here is another blaster I've been working on
It's based on a Luger and the Bryar pistol from the Jedi Knight series.
Don't know yet how I'm going to bring it to the real world, but I'll think of something.
