Hey Howdy Hey,

I have the helmet concepts in the helmet section, but in my drawings the helmet is obviously included.
Now please keep in mind, I am not really an artist per-say. I am not terrible, but not great either. So with that in mind might I present my idea. Or base idea to expand from.

Alright, so I am a tad lazy and didn't feel like shading the whole thing in so I just highlighted shapes and lines and the like. Which you can kind of see.


So I was thinking of having the character as an Echani Hybrid, so the idea of less is more was the basis for the concept. Over the shoulder bes'kad, han solo kind of style thigh draw holster. Couple of thermals, thinking something for the small of the back but not quite sure as of right now.


So please, hit me with the feedback. Good and bad, can't learn and improve otherwise. Thanks!

The pics were right-side up for me. If it's photobucket, it's done that to me a few times, especially if I changed the orientation within the photobucket suite.

Alrighty!

So here is an update, went and got some supplies today to start my templates and what not. Now first off I used the Jango templates, size small since I am a slim build guy. But even those might be too wide, so I might have to track down the Boba templates and give those a go.
Now, I did the taping of the cut outs on me. But since its paper they aren't the best, but it gives a general idea. I wasn't sure of the placement, so I looked around and went with what felt right for me. So please give me your feed-back, and I will go from there.

And a BONUS! There is a place in town here sells Sintra right out of the store, 96x48. They will even cut it in half form so I can get it home!

Alright, so I scraped the Jango cuts. I tried the Boba Templates, and am liking them waaaay better. Now I am pretty happy with the size, and they seem to sit better than the Jango ones. So I took two snaps, and would like some feedback please.

Spacing and sizing on both were spot on. I say go ahead and start building.

The plates look a little short to me, where does the ab plate sit in comparison to your belly button?

The bottom of the ab plate is roughly at my belly button. If I make the chest plates any bigger they will interfer with my shoulders.
