To start, i apologize for the missing links. Somehow ALL of my progress pics have disappeared from the interwebs where i did have them so all my links are gone. And i have no idea which ones i had where.  So with this, i can really only put my submission pics and a few others on this page.

I give you Riever.  Approved Early Crusader. Also approved Beasttamer in the Beastmaster brigade.

Update 1/13/15.  Added beastmaster/early crusader combo sigil.

You see, this is why i cant be left home alone.  For my arm guard i was thinking of making a krayt dragon esque skull as the bite guard (beast tamer).  Though i really didnt want to have to do the pepakura.. then i realized.. during my travels i acquired a croc skull.  So i plastic wrapped the sucker, then used some of that instant paper mache wrap stuff and wrapped it.  Then i can either 1) just use that as the base, put some fiberglass on outside and rondo on inside, or put rondo and expanding foam on the inside as the skull.  will need to figure out horns, but thats future tj's problem.

So here's my fiberglassed alligator skull. Next step is to add some horns and details to make it more krayt-esque. then add some teeth and fill in the underside so it sits well on my arm or shoulder.

So some of my inspiration for some of my pieces is coming from this. Mainly shoulder, arm armor, spear, and backpack.  I am hoping to get a different view of his back... anyone know or have reference pics of him from behind? i know its a long shot, but i'd like to see if possible.

New question. So i know that for EC you can have "tusken" style wraps, so my question is, could i also do tusken style boots/leg wraps as well? i know the CRL states combat/military is the primary accepted, but in designing, im kinda wanting to design some elements similar to a mandalorian that may have lived among the tuskens (similar material, arm and leg wraps and designing the hoses and breather similar to a tusken breather)

Had some fun today. Not that what my wife did was bad... there were just some elements i wanted to change up. Made rondo and filled in the face, added 2 more horns (this is so she could still make her new helmet with same design as her original)  and sketched out what i want for the eyes. Below is before and after.  Cut down my "dragon" gauntlet, then filled it with rondo to make it harder.

I feel like the gauntlet.. But I feel like it doesn't belong there... Maybe you can use it as a shoulder guard? I just LOVE your helmet mate!

You really need to read Seugtai's build, so many answers to the questions you've asked are in there ;)

Thanks, in person the skull actually looks better. i still have a bunch of work to do before i make the final decision.  one thing i'm going to do so it sits better is probably "break" the snout so it wraps around my wrist.    But if its large, im hoping its okay. For beast tamer, its required to have an oversized bite guard, so i'm hoping that this could be that.

If it doesnt, bicep or shoulder plate it is ;)

I've read through her build, but didnt actually see anything in re: bite guards or tusken style wraps.  I like to post the questions so i know what the App team are currently looking for, as older builds might have elements that are no longer passable.

So here's what more i did last night. here's the before and after.

You obviously missed the exact things I'm thinking of then. Re the wraps, her boots with the leather wrapping. Her gauntlets with the same holding on the bone plates.

The entire backpack build that spanned a few pages, including mounting of her axe and talking about the leather strap to hold it.

The CRL you'd be using has not changed to my memory since she was approved, and if it did it was while Seugtai was our Personell Officer as she pushed through a bunch of edits simply for clarity. You'd very much be fine basing your build off CRL elements that she incorporated.

With all due respect, im not sure you're understanding what my questions are.

In regards to the wraps. I do understand that suegtai does have leather wraps on the boots, but those differ greatly from what tusken boots wraps look like.
This is the beginnings of a tusken boot wrap before weathering.

As for the backpack, i merely am looking for reference pictures of other backpacks that are found in the comics etc, particularly that one specific mando.  I have looked greatly at soogies and have a good idea how mine will work mechanically, but visually i'm still trying to get inspiration and dont want to just be copying someone elses build.

And for the arm guard, i'll probably have to ask the app team directly if using a dragon skull as the bite guard is considered passable for a beast tamer. This is all the CRL states for that for the specialization "A bite gaunt (padded, oversized or bulky gaunt on one arm)"    So that is very open to interpretation of what could or couldnt be used.

Sorry to be a pest, but i've been rejected before on things that werent... clear in the CRL's, which then caused a decent amount of rework.  So best to be sure what i'm doing beforehand.
Thanks for the assistance, if there is further examples in soogys tutorial i may be missing that is more in line with my questions, please link.
