I had to permanently attach mine to my back so it would stop moving my plates but mine goes across not just down I use my cape to cover where it is attached. You can always use a back plate the same way. If you don't want it to be permanent you can always add a Velcro strip to the bandalier as well as the shoulder of your flight suit. or with yours glue a Chicago screw to the bottom of the clip and run it threw your vest or flight suit

hope that helps.

That does help. Thank you. I think I'll do velcro. I was thinking that I would just do a little stitch through the vest into the bandolier.

I would get stick back and attach it to the bottom of the clip and sew on for the vest or flight suit

Is that actually a bandoleer or is it just a shoulder rope? Ie are you wearing it across your chest or off one shoulder?

Off the shoulder. Not across the chest. I probably got the name mixed up.

That's all good. The attachment method will still work.

The proper term is aiguillette but shoulder rope gets the point across just fine. The one I have to wear for work just has a safety pin stitched in the bottom, so it can easily be removed to wash whatever it is attached to.

That's a good idea. I'll have to look into it. My vest is pleather, so I'll see if I can get the safety pin through it.

another idea is to saw some Velcro round the rope and have some more Velcro under your shoulder plate to attach it to
