Yes he does have them. I like the pvc pipe grenades as long as some event security doesn't get overzealous and think they are real.

Eh, they're tiny - probably 4" long at the most.  I'm hoping people won't immediately ID them as PVC by the time I'm done with them - and I'll have a pretty full belt, too, so it's not like they're gonna be lonely.

Do it!  Be prepared for an awful lot of sanding, though.  PVC's got all sorts of ridges and lines and mold seams all over it.

I usually painted over pvc with no sanding. My sniper rifle barrel and stock is pvc. My jetpack WIP frame. The legs and frame for my gun rack. My gatling gun quad barrel.

Little bit of light sanding even with 220 grit helps give the paint a little something extra to hold onto.

So yeah, I haven't been working on this at all since fall.  I started up again these past two weeks, and here's where I'm at.  I do believe that some of this progress was from before my winter hiatus, but I just haven't posted it yet.  Anyway, here we are:






Stabby!  Stabby is just about ready to paint, I think.  I gotta give it a once-over with bondo glaze (that stuff is glorious) but after that we should be golden.



Me bes'bev is 90% done now.  Need to 1) touch up the silver where it ran a bit, 2) paint a few detail rings in crimson to match my armor, 3) attach the bead/feather/clip string, and, of course, 4) weather/blackwash.  At this rate it could be the first thing on my kit that I actually finish! Haha! ha. ):


PVC splodeys.  Took 2-part epoxy and glued two chain rings to it; gonna use a clip on my belt to hold 'em on. Not... 100% sure the epoxy's gonna hold.  May need to remove and use e6000 instead?  Not sure, we'll see how it cures overnight.

Don't have any pics of my sonic distractor splodeys; they're primered right now.  Gotta paint both my splodeys black and then use a silver drybrush for the high points.

I... like my shooty, rather a lot, but I'm going to shelve it for now and focus on finishing these things.  Since having a gun isn't required for OM, just a weapon, I think what I have will pass muster well enough.  I do plan on finishing it, I'm just going to prioritize other things for now.
