Presenting the new 2014 MandoMercs challenge coin design! (1.75" tall coin) Requires login to forum account; at this time only Official Members and/or Auxiliary Members may pre-order. Copper coins available to general forum members at a later date. Gold or silver editions are limited, so pre-order by October 31st!

Since the Ltd's are OM Only, is there no way to have them match their OM number? For me this would greatly enhance the 'want' level, heck, I'm almost thinking to use them in a 'dogtag' manner then..

I imagine the purpose of this being the extra admin & follow-up of getting the right coin in the right mail.. But if possible, I love the concept, art, this would just make it 100% cool instead of 99%..
If it's meant to 'limit' the run, or keep it numbered, in a way limiting it to OM-members Catalog number is a sure way of having them limited..

I had the same thought, although i understand how matching things would be difficult. Also, I imagine that it's a manufacturer limiter, not a Mercs limiter.

While it would be neat, when we place the order we'll get a sequential run from 001 to X hundred for the coins.

Not everyone in our 1000+ OMs will be possible to get a matching numbered coin.
There's a ton of work to mailing out hundreds of coins, this way eliminates extra work for the quartermaster having to check every coin going out against in what order they purchased the coin(s) in.


The catalogue ID has always been for record keeping, it's not really an identifier anyways. ;)
