THREAD REVIVE!!

Wow, over a year since this has been updated. Here we go!

I'm starting to get a bit bored with my main kit so I thought I'd come back to Dee and get her rolling on becoming official. First thing I needed were actual gauntlets. I've  been sitting on a pair from Forge Props for over a year and gave em' some much needed love and attention. Got them trimmed and cut and one of them is completely assembled but I ran out of hinges so I gotta pick up 2 more. Once the other is done I'll slap a bit of JB Weld over the hinges for extra security and they'll be ready for paint!

The next thing I'm still debating about is the new chest/collar plate and new vest. The vest is just a tad short on me, probably due to my error, so I don't think I'll be able to use it as it doesn't look like I can fit an ab plate on it realistically. I'm going to have to trim the chest plate first and reassess if it can be done. Otherwise, I will salvage my existing one, which should be doable if I can cover the screw holes 

Once I'm comfortable with the upgrades and I put it all on for a test fit is when I'll decide whether to ditch the cape. While I really do like it, I think I like the "butt flap" (doesn't really constitute as a kama imo ) a bit more and would like to keep it. Since I'm not entirely happy with the cod either, I have a loin attached, but if that ends up looking odd then I have a spare cod that I can use.

I think that's everything for right now... I'll be back with more updates!!

Yay, so awesome to see you back at it!!  If you're deciding between the chest plate styles, I'd vote for the night owl ones cause they look really good in the purple/chrome paint design

So I had this idea come to me today that I wanted to see if it would be approvable. I like the idea of having a traditional flightsuit/jumpsuit, sorta like how X-Wing pilots do, but also hailing to car mechanics jumpsuits. My idea though was to wear it like this:


The top would cinch around the waist and act as a "kama" of sorts. I'd still wear the vest and plates and a long sleeve shirt so everything up top would be as it normally is, just the bottom would be more interesting but still functional. Thoughts?

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it would pass app since the top and bottom of the flight suit have to look like one piece.

Yeah after I posted this I spoke with someone on the app team and was told just as much. Though I might use this for her casual wear Thanks Aria!

Maybe you can casually wear your mando with just your lower armor and flight suit open like that during tabling. So that you're still "in-character" while you're talking to people about how to build a Mando?

That's what I was thinking! Now to find a good flight suit
