I've read the Republic Commando books at least twice. They are what turned me onto Mando mythology.

Worked on my arsenal today. There is still painting and weathering to be done obviously. The 1911 still needs work, especially on the grip. Any suggestions are welcome.

if you can afford the money, go buy a rubber Hogue wrap around grip.  the finger grooves breaks up the standard 1911 outline enough most people wont know it it what youve done to the main body.  Im using on my toy conversions the tie on plates that come with some toys, those black things that have multiple holes, to be greeblies on any large flat spaces.  I think ya did great work

I looked at the Houge grips. $30 is a bit much for a toy.

I may just use some spackling to fill the diamond pattern and sand it smooth.

I'm still not sure about this one. It started life as a 1911 style air soft. I'm trying to hide the earthy elements. Suggestions? Please!

both look fine to me.  Although I'd change out that fiber rope grip wrapping for leather instead.

Dont be afraid of earthy elements, the SWEU is full of them.  but only the really big guns get to dodge any serious mods.  Smaller ones need some addons.  I spend a lot of time looking around on wookiepedia at pics of the weapons form the movies, RPG books, SWTOR, KOTOR, Galaxies.
