Howdy, vode,

I was absent for a long time, but I just found out Jeremy Bulloch is going to be in town at a local convention next month, so I would really like to be able to wear my kit to the event.  Therefore, I am trying to fix any issues and make my costume something I can be proud of.

My current setup has some pretty glaring issues, so I hope y'all can help me address them and point out others I didn't notice on my own.

My first point of address- my belt/girthbelt:

Known Issues/concerns:
- I'm not sure the requirements for the belt, so I don't know if the way I have the girthbelt attached is acceptable or not.
- Also, the belt-loops on the pouches are wider than my belt.  It's not technically a problem, but it does look bad when my pouches don't line up, and I constantly have to readjust them.
- The plate gap is my biggest concern in this area.  As you can see in the picture below, There is a considerable gap between my gut plate and cod piece, and some of my velcro is exposed.  Should  I add a sash or something similar underneath the girth belt to conceal any possible exposed problems?

So, what do y'all think?  What else have I missed?

EDIT:  I realize now that this might not be the right board for this.  If so, I apologize and will consolidate this thread with my post in Equipment and Accessories.
