Thanks vode!

Currently working on painting the armor at the moment but hopefully I can finish up my earcaps today.

Slow progress. Was busy tinkering with my armor and work.

Started on the left earcap today! Layered up some 3mm sintra and them shot the first hot layer of bondo on it for a base. Gonna go back and smooth this out with some sandpaper and more layers of bondo. Should make for a decently smooth earcap with not alot of bondo used!

Dude! I like that method you're using there I've not seen it done that way yet. I may just have to borrow that way for my helmet designs! That is if you don't mind!

Just glad I can help!

Glued an extra layer of 3mm sintra behind this piece to get the exact thickness I want.

Gonna smooth this out then its done! Thinking about attaching the earcaps via screws so I can hollow them out later for something.

Right earcap done! Top part will be removable to add a range finder or etc later on.

Now to put this together and start paint!

Thanks vode!

Earcaps have been installed and I finally removed the support piece for the visor. Gonna do some more sandage here and there and prep for paint, but...

Shes pretty much done! Paint and visor install coming soon!

Now to get the visor fitment correct, clean up the interior and then work on fans after the rest is done.

Time for progress! From primed, to shiny, to masking and finally the finished paint chip layer.

Now to reapply masking liquid and start painting!

Sprayed the white on the bucket and caps today. Planning out more details like jaig eyes and etc now.

I may actually end up doing a tutorial if you guys want! Either picture by picture or video.

Updates! Decided on Jaig eyes.

Still looooads of paintwork to do and weathering. Gonna go over some parts with my airbrush to cover up some overdone chipping/smooth things out and etc.

Sketched out a quick Jaig eye template based off Fenn's

After the stencil being applied and sprayed

Went back and did some touch ups with a brush and finally took off the masking liquid on the white. Viola! Now to fix some issues that bug me and finish painting the lower back half of the helmet.

Thanks vod! Looking forward to checking out your kit when I can!

More progress. Few more coats of matte varnish and the bucket is done!

Then I can toss in the tinted visor.

Started with spot washes

More washes and some work with pastels

Done! All weathered up

Now to wait for a few more coats of matte varnish to dry

Looks like my Buy'ce is done!

Still have some tweaking I want to do for the visor itself, but super pleased! Next bit of progress will be padding inside aswell as wiring in two fans. Eventually a microphone aswell.

Bad photo of me wearing it, will grab a better one in a few.
