Since then Ive done some more gap filling, sanding and etc.

Now I can focus on the Earcaps, keyholes and visor tomorrow.

Then its time for alot of sanding, more priming, sanding, more priming and finally its paintwork time!

More progress today with the keyslots in the back.

From start to letting body filler dry before sanding.













Sanding and cleanup of the filler will be tomorrow, gonna hit the sack for now!

Think I have the colors planned out for the helmet!



Although, the dome and cheeks will most likely have a stripe running down to match the stripes I have planned on my armor

Colors planned for my mando:

Primary: White
Secondary: Green (Not sure on the exact shade as of yet.) and Gray
This will all be worn over a tan/FDE flight suit which will be weathered to match the armor.

Also, sneak peek at the first layers of my armor. (Ignore the water drops as the pieces were still drying)



The first layer is a metallic/silver
the 2nd is black
3rd will be a gray

Then I can start laying down my Mando's colors and have the Silver/Black/Gray showing through the chips.

Granted, this is early in the stage of painting but shows the method I use to create my paint chips.

Currently working on painting the armor at the moment but hopefully I can finish up my earcaps today.

Slow progress. Was busy tinkering with my armor and work.

Started on the left earcap today! Layered up some 3mm sintra and them shot the first hot layer of bondo on it for a base. Gonna go back and smooth this out with some sandpaper and more layers of bondo. Should make for a decently smooth earcap with not alot of bondo used!

Dude! I like that method you're using there I've not seen it done that way yet. I may just have to borrow that way for my helmet designs! That is if you don't mind!
