Double sleeves?
« on: Feb 26, 2015, 08:43 PM »
I am not too experienced with sewing, but plan on gaining more to give myself more options for future projects. With that said, I was wondering if anyone had a nice tutorial on the double sleeves for the mando flight suit?

I just obtained the coveralls I have ordered and was happy that they fit very nicely, when I was a little hesitant on ordering online.

Can't tell in this photo but the color is Charcoal.

I'm about to attack that very thing myself.    I'll take pix and write up the method, but essentially I plan to make them "cloth voiders."  (Do a search on "voider - armor" and it'll bring up what I 'm talking about.  Chain voiders were common, especially in the transitional armor, and they are basically half-sleeves. )  I'm looking at doing something similar and they should be very straightforward as far as how to make and attach.

Posted for you, bud.  I made it as it's own tutorial thread so I could link my WIP's to it.  Hope it helps.
