It looks Good Ner'vod ... I can't Wait to See it finished ..

Now if I may Suggest some Details that might perk it up a bit ?
these are only a Few of the things that come to mind so forgive me if they sound Basic ..

* Instead of Just Wrapping the Handle in The usual Mummy Bandages , make a Real grip worthy of your Weapon ..
Mask off or Wrap the Blade with a few Grocery bags and Tape .. this will protect your blades paint job while you
Work on the Grip .. You may Want to Hold the Blade in a Vice During These options so make Sure you have Scrap sintra
as Wide as the Jaws so you don't mar the blade .. 1) Make a Grip from Wood OR Sintra (Stacked & glued and Sanded down if need be for thickness on Both sides.
Now you can then Counter Sink Screws in the the Grip for Sanding & shaping (I normally discard these Screws because they usually Get misshaped
due to Sanding ) Then Use New ones for your finished product ... OR You Could drill Straight through and Counter Sink
Chicago Style Screws in the Grips and Attach them from both Sides ... I've done Both , the latter gives a More finished look however ..

Wear Rubber Gloves for Smoothing out ~

2) Wrap it with String soaked glue Make sure to line up the strands Even and let it dry .. then on the
Second Time wrapping it You can go in any direction or pattern you'd like .. the First layer gave you the Base
to build on .. When you Reach the level of Heft and thickness you like let it Dry a Day and lightly sand it down and
either brush it will clear epoxy or a furniture Grade lacquer ..Let Dry to recommendations on package and Repeat if
necessary .. Sand and polish when completely Dry .... But This is only my 2 Credits
Now I know this could add a Week or more to your Build .. but wouldn't it Be worth it ?
I love making weapons , So if you have any Questions Feel free to ask me questions anytime .. 8)
