I'm working on Westar holsters right now and they just need a textile wrap finish and belt loops. Picture time of an actual wip on the holsters.
Started with tracing the Westar onto paper and transferred the straightened and boxed out lines onto a 3-ring binder. 1 binder was enough for both holsters.

Cut it out and made one of the bottom flaps smaller to fit inside. It probably wasn't needed at all in hindsight but that is 20/20 anyways. Scored along the lines and bent the sides. Also have the spot for the trigger on one side only.

I started by hot-gluing the open seam. I went slowly and worked about an inch and a half at a time and let that cool and solidify while holding it to shape. After the first seam was done I did the bottom flap all the way around, and finished with the remaining long edges. Used an x-acto to remove excess glue and get a ~45 degree angle on the edges.

How it fits with the Westar in. They sit in there pretty snug and I may trim the back side around the trigger housing.

This is how I want to mock the up and have them sit centered on the back of my belt. The pistol grips would face up allowing my fingers to freely grab the grips.

I pretty much followed Simmy's tutorial on the way he made his holster. I just need to finish them with a textile wrap like I said at the top, thinking of pleather. I'm not sure how I'll get it to my liking but probably will do a plus shaped cut out starting with the bottom as the start and getting a little overlap from the wider sides onto the thinner sides with a foldover to conceal the raw cut edge. Probably just going to use E6000 to adhere it to the holster base. Not sure of how I will do the belt loops since I may want to change them from the setup I'm imagining to normal vertical hip holsters.
