Looking good Vod! What do you use for filling?

Green stuff. It's a two part compound. Mix part a with part b add a little bit of water and you can fill gaps or mold with it. After a good 24 hours it's rock hard. Can be sanded smooth as well. I use it for working with 40k models.

I also have a liquid green stuff as well. It's already pre mixed and can be painted on.

Got them both primed and started work on the grip.



Did a little more work yesterday.




Did a little more work today. They still need some minor touch ups and finish work, but it's getting here.

So I ordered some sheaths for my knives. However there was slight issue with them. Needless to say I'm a little irritated at this.

Give Sintra a try.  I'm looking to make a set of holsters for my blasters, and am looking to make a back sheath for my sword that way, too.

Would it be the same as making one from kydex?

I think Sintra and kydex are the same thing. Open cell expanded PVC foam board?

In my experience kydex is much more durable than sintra. Sintra is lighter, almost like a sturdier foamcore.

This photo bucket crap is annoying me. I have to many images to go back and change. Ughhhhh....

Anyways I tried some handle wraps today with the knives. On the left is coban, or kling wrap, and the right is some grip tape. I'm not sure which I want to go with so I would welcome some input.
