Out of curiosity, has anyone done SWToR Armor and/or what era of costume requirements would this fall under?

Yes, it's been done. It's considered Late Crusader.

The thing to keep in mind about doing this kind of armor, is you still have to keep within the guidelines of the CRLs and the Mandalorian aesthetic. So not just any piece of armor from any class in the game will work. Helmets, for example, should still have some form of Tvisor. The easiest thing to do would be to use the armor from an established Mandalorian character or characters in the game.

New here but since I also was thinking of my mando character in SWTOR i figured i'd post here instead of making a new topic, 30 days old or not buuuut...

what about something like Shae Vizla's armor? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shae_Vizla

she doesn't adhear to a number of the typical things (so I'm assuming if anything her gear would not really be applicable for custom even though it posits the question: What other Mando's aren't doing it by the books?).

curious as to why this is late crusader. on the CRLs page, Neo Crusader falls under Knights of the Old Republic... and the Old Republic game comes AFTER KoToR in the timeline. so wouldn't SWTOR fall between Neo & Modern??

No, the Neo-Crusaders and Late Crusaders timeline is continuous. It's kind of like how Modern and Legacy work, but Neo-Crusader needs it's own CRL because the costume is very specific.

It's less a delineation of time and more about the style of costume.

ok, so which CRL should be used as a guideline when creating an Old Republic Mandalorian?

Late Crusader. You'd use the Neo Crusader CRL if you wanted to make this particular costume:

so maybe i missed it, but there is no late crusader CRL. i see Early, Crusader, Neo-Crusader, and Modern. do you mean Crusader, which falls under my earlier point of that being before KoToR on the timeline. Old Republic happens after the Mandalorian Wars & KoToR, which would make it fall between Neo & Modern. it's confusing saying 'Late Crusader' when there is no CRL for that specific build. if someone wants to build this type of kit (Old Republic), they need to know which set of guidelines to follow since there are strapping & material differences for the eras.

that is what i am referencing. please let me know if there are Late Crusader CRLs posted elsewhere, other than the reference pictures here.

Yes, I guess I meant Crusader. Up until the recent website change, it had been referred to as "Late Crusader", so that's how I know it. Crusader and Late Crusader refer to the same thing.

Regardless, it's a semantics issue. Don't get caught up too much in the timeline here. Crusader armor is custom armor, Neo Crusader armor is not.
