Ok so now that a buddy is laid up I'll have to find a new source for plates but oh well. I used the mando maker for my color scheme but my purple came out a bit light. I intend for it to be a darker shade (cape looks flat but would be much fuller)
The cape I'm going to be doing is going to hang on one shoulder like a vest with my arm going through a hole (using one of my biker vests to pattern that side upper section) and then wrap around back to come up to my neck plate and attach with a twist lock that my father and I have used for ages doing custom leather work (Doing renaissance and medieval events so I have em on had and they should work). the center stays on the armor while the upper ring with the hole would be on the cape. so I'd slide one arm in then bring other side around back and attach the clasp. I intend for the cape to be reversible grey/black and purple on the reverse side

on the more exposed shoulder I want to do an articulated pauldron like this but more squared off
And rather than a chest diamond I want to do something akin to an hourglass
For a girth / ammo belt I'lll be modding a few surplus military gun slings and adding pouches
