So.... I figured I'd finish out this thread with the final pics of my helmet!!  I'll skip all the details of how it got from A-B...it was challenging...and there were times when I wanted to throw the bucket against the wall!  But I persevered.  If you want to see more of the build/paint process, check out my FB page. 

I really want to give a HUGE shoutout to all of the amazing people that have cheered me on during this build.  You guys know who you are, but without you....it probably would have been shelved along the way, so thanks guys, you're all awesome.  <hugs>

I do have one quick question, what did you use in front of those LEDs?  I am planning on doing my small triangles on my forehead and yours look great and i would love to match them

Thank you so much guys!!!   I'm currently working on the interior of the helmet now, so I'll be sure to post pics of that.  Lot's of electronic goodies!!  It will likely be submitted as a tutorial soon.

The pieces in front of the LED's are 1/4" lexan.  I had a little scrap piece that came in handy here!!  Plexiglass would work great too, and it would be cheaper/easier to worth with than the lexan.
