How to strengthen a cheap Halloween mask?

Working on a project. I have a crappy thin plastic Halloween mask that I want to sturdy up. Could I use rondo and fiberglass cloth strips on the inside to do this? Or any other good ideas?  I've heard about Rondo melting some plastics.
