This is the Big Buck rifle I stumbled upon at my local Goodwill while looking for some goods for my friends Star Lord costume. The base shape is pretty close to Fett's ESB EE-3 blaster rifle so I figured I would work what little magic I have to try to make it look similar. As far as I can tell though, mine is going to be a longer version as I wasn't a great judge of the originals length but  I can always just say it's a long distance targeting EE-3 right? Any pointers are welcome!

That's a nice base, but if you are going to stick with this, I'd suggest you dremel out the trigger guard as its pretty thick.  Same would go with the trigger itself.  Overall, its got the makings of a sweet gun....  it all depends on where you go from here.

After playing around with some bondo I filled the screw holes and covered the stock to hopefully look more like real wood than what it came with. I also cut some bands from some PVC pipe and slid those onto the barrel.

I've been thinking about doing a pseudo EE-3, but hadn't thought of using a shotgun as it's base. Looks like the better way to go.

Ok so I finally added the scope and did a little painting to match the Montross blaster pistol (which can be found here: http://mandalorianmercs.org/forum/index.php?topic=53864.30)  I had so I had a 'matching' pair. I'm not entirely sold on this look but we shall see.

Thanks vod! I am glad I painted over the bronze and added the sling, extra scope to match my blaster pistol, and a few other greebs. The original definitely felt like it was missing some things ha

I ordered them off of Amazon actually. Just search for Tasco Rimfire 4x 15mm Crosshair Reticle Riflescope. They run around $7 I believe.
