I didn’t get this exact one, but it was fairly similar to this one:

Spot sanding is now compete and gauntlets are ready for the glue and bondo. Pics will be added tomorrow or Saturday.

So I am finally well enough to glue my gauntlets. Still waiting for my mask to show up so I can start the bondo process but I got the the gluing done and it's looking good.

I am officially back from my extended hiatus with summer finals and waiting for stuff then sadly my laptop dying on me. I am proud to announce that Christmas came early for me in the form of my nite owl helmet and all its unfinished glory! :<3:

(I know it’s not the right photo format. It will get fixed once my laptop is replaced. :porg2:)
(8/18 Edit: New laptop has been acquired and link has been fixed!  ;D)

I have marked the areas where I'm going to cut out for the visor. I'm leaving a couple of small sections just to help me when it finally comes to mounting the visor. All the sections will be cut away before final installation of the visor and before painting. The actual process of cutting out the sections is going to happen when I have a lot of free time during the day. And when I make sure I have the correct tools.  ;D

Yay!

Does the inside of the helmet (down at the bottom of the visor part) has a little lip? If so, I’d leave that and cut a slit for the visor to slide into. That’s how mine is cut :) I can snap a picture of mine if that doesn’t make any sense lol
