On April 16th through the 18th, the Colorado Cerar Squad invaded the 33rd annual StarFest held in Southern Denver. Official members and hopefuls trooped along side the 501st Mountain Garrison, The Colorado Rebel Legion, and the Star Wars Rocky Mountain Fan Force.
StarFest is an annual Colorado convention encompassing all aspects of popular media, film and television. Started in 1977, it attracts several thousand fans of popular culture for a weekend of social interaction, games and fun. The Mercs came in full force this year, growing from two armored individuals in 2009, to seven in 2010, that's tripple the initial appearence! Official members in attendence included: Kantis Nolef (of Nolef Clan), Eoburgo, Qeldroma, Malus and Hydra.

The Mercs fan table seemed to be consistantly busy with enthusiastic and quizitive hopefuls, and our overall presence was accepted extremely well. Personal donations were made by contributing members to the Make a Wish Foundation, as well as a small, but notable amount raised for the Verd'ika fund.
