Hey guys, Im still new here but I have made some headway & thought Id Share where im at. I havent come up with a name for him yet & I havent totally settled on a design, But I started on my Bucket last night & wanted to show it off

after talking with you guys & staring at the 2 pics I have decided now to proceed with this design...


& here is the progress I made last night. I found some templates & started cutting them out on poster board & this is what I came up with...





I need to lengthen the bottom about 1/2" to cover my face a bit more & I thought about using 1/8" ABS plastic to make it out of but thought it might be a little tough to get the dome to come out right. I might also just cover my Poster Board form in Fiberglas, Resin Or Bondo (depending on price at the time), let me know how you guys feel about these materials

I'm gonna be starting on my Armor this weekend, so any advice there would be a huge assist.

The Flack Vest I think I can handle on my own but have NO idea on where to go for my Flight Suit so if someone could point me toard a local place to find one (for cheap) I would appreciate it.

anyway thats where I am at this point, my goal is to have the majority of my suit donw by the last day of PhoenixCon but we all know how plans go sometimes.

Hope you guys enjoy & I would really appreciate ANY criticisim, advice or tips that you guys can provide.

alright guys...Ive decided I wanna do the Mando in the first pic (pending council approval of course) gonna custom blasters & have kinda a desert camo paint scheme to him...let me know what you guys think

My best suggestion if you do the first one is you put a lot of your own flair into it because I've seen that picture passed around quite a bit.

I love the desert camo colours especially down here in Arizona. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Get your basic parts done and then start working out the detailing from the picture. That is a beasty awesome set btw, I've seen quite a few people talk about doing it, if you pull it off, kudos to you mate!

Not much of an update but I managed to get a start on my Blasters this weekend...

Here's what they are going to look like & they are BIG, about 12 inches a piece...hope you like!

Thanx for the comments...the body is gonna be wood with some filler over it to make it not look like wood. the small cylinders under the barrell are going to be 1" dowels & I havent really figured out the "revolver drum" yet.

Try PVC Pipe (my personal favorite) for the cylinder

That looks like Vash the Stampede's revolver from Trigun. I know a guy who sells that for thirty bucks on eBay.

I got the basic idea from Trigun...& PVC is probably the way ill go for with the cylinder...thanx guys
