DIY helmet build!!

Hey y'all i decided to try a homeade DIY build using cardboard and fiberglass... It's mostly done I just need to sand the paint off add bondo smooth it out and re-paint but here are photos from beginning to end.

Looks like a good start, vod.  You're gonna need to get it a lot smoother, though, before you call it done.  Bondo is your friend!

He would if it wasnt in my basement.. we have 6inches of snow so I can't do it outside and I don't want the fumes to get to strong.

Make sure bedore tou start smearing bondo in the top ridge you really rough it up. You may even want to consider grooving it with a saw (lightly of course) sonthe bondo sticks in there and doesnt pop.

If you're going to be working in a confined space at all with this stuff I have to recommend you get yourself a breathing mask of some sort from a local home improvement store or the such. They are pretty inexpensive and you can get one for as cheap as ~$20. For the cost it's really not worth getting all those nasty fumes in your body.

Yeah I ruffed it up nice and didn't stay down very long. But the fumes went throughout my house so I need to wait till spring to do anymore, untill then I'll be sanding it all down along with sanding the pain off my plates for a new paint job and possibly new colors.
