Nite Owl Helmet Complete *Updated*

First coat of matte black went on today and some light weathering details. Will be adding dark matte purple details maybe over the weekend. I had issues with the first primer - It was cracking at the top. So I sanded it all down and bought something better. I think this came out really well. Can't wait to add the purple.

Update 1:







Painting and weathering details done! I'm really pleased with it so far. Now I have to figure out how to install the visor.

UPDATE TWO:

It's finished! What do you think?





For the mirrored visor, I used mirror window film and applied it to a plexiglass face shield.



Visor attached with screws so it can be removed/replaced.


UPDATE THREE: Changed the RF so it lights up purple. I think it looks a lot better!

Looks great!  That's exactly the same color scheme I am using!  Great choice! Hope mine turns out half as good as yours!

I'm a sucker for the night owl! Great colour choices too. Have you thought about visor colours yet? I can see an awesome contrast with a mirrored one....just sayin' lol

Good colour combo, I like purple, the purple on your top is a nice shape as well
What's the rest going to look like
What character wears that helmet...I think I need to study the clone wars and rebels
