I thought I had already started a thread, but cant find it.
I have always liked the Darksaber, Even though I can't use it on my kit I decided to make one anyway for fun.  The hardest part was finding the right blade.  I came up with my own solution.  I used 1/4 acrylic and sprayed the outside with window tint.  Took a few tries to get the dimensions down for the handle.  The LEDs are just ones that go in lighsabers.  The blade is removable too.  Just a small screw.

I still need to finish a couple parts on the handle, sand and paint it.

Its just a big LED.  Its the same electronics as a lightsaber.  The key though is sanding the edges so it catches the light.

Not really.  Just look up lightsaber wiring.  Lots already out there.  Then just get sandpaper or a sander and sand.
