Right thigh armor made from 6 mm sintra. My take on DW. I tried to taper the ends of the center raised part. Painted in colorshift paints: blue cosmos, pink champagne and green.

Remade right thigh to be larger. Dimensions close to a 3d print. I made this again with 6mm sintra and followed same color scheme

Chest piece bought from Clever3dstudio. File by Alter Ego
I sanded then light coat of resin. Let cure then sand, filler/primer repeat. Put down silver base followed by placing masking fluid in various areas.

A sperm whale with markings from an attack by a giant squid

A plate of spaghetti noodles I used to mask and create patterns

Added a new left gauntlet with radar screen or “sonar” to match aquatic theme. Built by Wlliam Ellender who sells them on Hawkers Row. Did the usual sand/prime repeat. Maintained same color scheme as rest of kit

Back plate. I sanded then fiberglassed the back. After more sanding and priming I continued the same color scheme as rest of armor. Used masking fluid, salt and spaghetti to simulate battle/ware based animal attack look.

How attach armor. For the chest and back it is velcro, snaps and magnets

For the thigh plates it is velcro and magnets

Continue to weather soft parts. Used fabric paint. Greens, blacks, browns, white, and various mixtures. Added a spot where a “repair” was made. Will do that in other areas.

Great job. I'm doing a water mando too. Their are others on here too. I like the spaghetti when painting. I've been using liquid latex. If you wanna get a salt water stain on the soft parts, try dipping them into salted water and letting them dry in the sun. Also leather doesn't do well in salt water, so I was gonna get mine leather parts in a light grey to look like shark skin ish.

Had a spare knee. Resin print from Kevela Armory. I cut the lower part of sanded/primed and painted. Trying to add a water looking weathering like I have been on other armor pieces. The hope is it will not appear to be touching shin which the other knee like this one does in pics. In real life it does not touch but the camera hates me.

Kinda upset that I cannot find a lot of pics of my blaster builds. I thought I posted and had those pics. Have looked on my insta, discord etc. So far found my Westar 35. I dropped it hence the pic with it broken. A little epoxy and sanding—fixed.
