All armor must be made of a solid material such as 3D prints, fiberglass, styrene, sintra, or vacuum-formed ABS. Armor must have dimension and give the appearance of thickness and depth according to the visual references of this character. All armor and soft parts must be weathered where indicated in visual references to give the illusion of battle wear and damage.
 

Helmet

  • Helmet is The Clone Wars Season 7 (TCW S7) Gar Saxon helmet.
  • Helmet features four square pyramidal angled horns.
    • Side horns integrate into the ear caps.
  • Visor is gold tinted.
  • Upper cheeks are square, and the lower cheeks are rounded.
  • Helmet is painted primarily black and red.
    • Dome, lower cheeks and rear should all be black
    • Upper cheeks, upper brow, key slot details, and horns should have exposed silver weathering.
    • Face, rear brow, and “Maul paint” should be red.
    • All painted sections have exposed silver damage showing through
    • Maul paint extends from above the front brow ridge and over the top of the dome
  • Helmet features trapezoidal keyslots in the rear of the helmet.
    • Keyslots sit between rear brow and bottom edge of the helmet.
    • Keyslots are inset into the rear of the helmet.
    • Keyslots feature a grey outline and a recessed upside down T shape in the center.
  • Earcaps are symmetrically identical and integrate with horns at the helmet brow.
    • Earcaps are rectangular in shape with an angled bottom.
    • Earcaps feature three yellow backlit sections: a triangle at the top with two smaller circles underneath.
    • Earcaps feature a rectangular inset.
    • Earcaps are painted weathered black with three vertical grey stripes.
  • Helmet is painted to match on-screen references for decorative and damage patterns.

 

Flight Suit

  • Flight suit is medium grey in color.
  • Flight suit has an integrated Mandarin style collar that sits above the flak vest.
  • Flight suit has the appearance of being one piece.
  • Flight suit features charcoal grey patches on the sleeves outlined in burgundy piping.
    • Charcoal patches sit just below the shoulder bell and extend to the wrist.
    • Charcoal patches cover the outer part of the arm to the elbow and the whole forearm from elbow to wrist.
  • Flight suit has no visible pockets.
  • Flight suit has light weathering across its entirety.
  • Flight suit must match visual references.

 

Vest

  • Vest is charcoal grey in color with burgundy piping.
  • Vest features distinct panels outlined with burgundy piping with one exception.
    • One panel covers the area from front to back from scapula to collar bone with cutout for the collar.
    • A tubular panel covers each deltoid, to which the shoulder bells are mounted.
    • Trapezoidal panels matching in the front and back outline the armor shape.
    • Rib panels connect the front and back panels and do not feature the burgundy piping. The rib panels are closer to the medium grey of the flight suit.

 

Gloves

  • Gloves are black in color.
  • Gloves feature a grey flexible panel across the back of the hand.

 

Boots

  • Boots are black or charcoal grey ankle high chelsea-style boot.
  • Boots have no visible zippers or laces.
  • Boots must have a sizable sole and distinct heel.

 

Chest Armor

  • Chest armor consists of six distinct plates that are a minimum of 3 mm thick.
    • Two weathered black shoulder straps with rounded rectangular cutouts for additional strapping in the front and back
    • A right and left chest plate
    • A center diamond
    • A trapezoidal ab plate
  • Chest plates must match TCW S7 Gar Saxon design for shape.
    • Shoulder straps must have exposed webbing approximately 5-8 cm / 2-3 in. wide extending to under the chest plates.
    • Shoulder straps are painted black.
    • Chest plates are painted red and black in color with backlit yellow inset triangles at the top edge.
    • Chest diamond is red with a backlit yellow inset diamond.
    • Ab plate is painted red and black with the red design outlining the upper edges of the plate.
    • All backlit yellow accents must have a surrounding black outline and be inset into the plate.
  • All plates feature animated-style black and grey weathering.
  • Chest armor must feature “Maul”-style paint patterns.
  • Chest armor must match visual references.

 

Back Armor

  • Backplate is painted red.
  • Backplate connects to the shoulder straps via approximately 5-8 cm / 2-3 in. wide webbing.
  • Backplate is securely attached to the vest.
  • Backplate provides a flush mounting location for the jetpack.
  • Backplate has small trapezoidal sections extending under the arms.
  • Backplate has an approximately 5 cm / 2 in. space between its edge and the armholes of the vest.
  • Backplate must match visual references.

 

Shoulder Armor

  • Shoulder armor is black with red “Maul”-style paint patterns.
  • Shoulder bells are a unique Gar Saxon design.
  • Shoulder bells sit away from the body with an empty space between deltoid and torso armor.
  • Shoulder bells have two distinct geometric shapes with a ridge.
  • Shoulder armor features a recessed rectangular section at the bottom of each shoulder bell.
  • Shoulder armor sits in line with the bottom of the short sleeve of the flight suit.

 

Gauntlets

  • Gauntlets are a unique Gar Saxon clamshell design.
  • The base of the gauntlet design is mirrored between the left and right gauntlet with a difference in the upper rectangular platform.
  • Gauntlets feature the black and red geometric paint highlights seen in references.
  • Gauntlets feature TCW-style exposed silver and dry brushing.
  • Gauntlets have an oversized pronounced trapezoidal topper with a rectangular platform for a backlit yellow rectangle (right) or shield generator (left).
  • Gauntlet uppers taper to a rounded point close to the elbow and sit prominently above the wearer’s forearm.
  • Gauntlets should stop short of 3/4 of the forearm length.
  • Gauntlets feature a hole on the first slope of the topper that is filled with an ogive rocket nose cone.
  • Gauntlet bottoms are a simple clamshell with a raised rectangular detailing placed toward the wrist end of the gauntlet.
  • Gauntlet bottoms feature two inset horizontal lines at both the wrist and elbow ends of the outer surface.

 
Right Gauntlet

  • Right gauntlet has a backlit yellow rectangle detail piece with a raised cylinder extending in the direction of the embedded rocket, toward the wearer’s hand.
    • Only a small strip of the interior of the rectangular detail is backlit while the rest is painted a muted yellow.

 
Left Gauntlet

  • Left gauntlet features a shield generator platform.
    • Shield platform sits on the rectangular forefront of the gauntlet’s upper half.
    • Shield platform is slightly wider than the platform that supports it.
    • Shield platform is rectangular in shape with a rounded edge.
    • Shield platform features four asymmetrical cylindrical greeblies.
      • Largest circular disc greeblie is at the rear of the platform, centered right to left.
      • Medium circle is on the left of the platform and centered front to back.
      • Smallest circle is on the right of the platform and further to the rear than the medium circle.
      • Medium and small circles connect via a rectangular piece at the same height.
      • Additional horizontal cylindrical detail is just forward of the smallest circle.
    • Shield Disc is an optional element for this gauntlet. Must have no visible attachment methods

 

Hand Plates

  • Hand plates are painted dark grey.
  • Hand plates must attach to the glove.

 

Cod Armor

  • Cod armor is painted black.
  • Cod armor sits directly below the belt and under the kama.
  • Cod armor is trapezoidal in shape with a curved lower section.

 

Girth Belt

  • Girth belt consists of two layers.
    • Top layer is weathered black.
    • Bottom layer is light grey.
  • Girth belt hides the seam between the top and bottom pieces of the flight suit if the flight suit is not one piece.
  • Girth belt hides the top of the kama.

 

Main Belt

  • Belt is black leather or leather like material.
  • Belt is centered on the layered girth belt.
  • Belt features a three piece buckle.
    • Center buckle piece is a rectangle with a trapezoid cutout on the bottom.
    • Side buckle pieces are vertical rectangles.
    • Buckle must be weathered silver.

 

Kama and Holsters

  • Kama and holster mount is charcoal grey in color with burgundy piping around all edges.
  • Kama features red “Maul” detailing around the holsters.
  • Kama should fit snugly to the wearer.
  • Kama features a square cutout in the rear.
  • Kama features black elastic strapping to secure the edges and holsters to the thigh.
  • Holsters are attached to the kama and worn on the outside of the thigh.
  • Holsters are rectangular in shape to hold the animated-style Westar 35 pistols.
  • Kama and holsters must match visual references.

 

Knee Armor

  • Knee armor is black and features exposed silver weathering.
  • Knee armor design matches the animated-style Death Watch armor.
  • Knee armor is trapezoidal and sits over the patella with angled panels on the outside of the knees.
  • Knee armor does not feature darts.
  • Knee armor does not attach with strapping.

 

Weapons

Pistols

  • Weapons consist of two animated-style Westar 35 pistols.
  • Pistols should fit into holsters.

 

Jetpack – Optional

  • Five-tank version of the JT-12 Jetpack.
  • Center three tanks are cylindrical.
  • Center three tanks feature a red parabolic ridge running vertically from top to bottom, terminating before the rocket tops and bottom caps.
  • Center three tanks feature a concentric flat disk bottom cap.
  • Outermost tanks are hexagonal.
  • Center rocket is composed of a bottom collar, conical transition pieces, and a cylindrical rocket topped with an ogive nose. Cylindrical section must feature four small radial fins.
  • Center rocket is painted grey.
  • Must feature ogive nose cones on the top of the middle two tank sections.
  • Second nose cones are painted grey.
  • Must feature stubby ogive stepped nose cones on the outermost tank sections.
  • Outer nose cones have grey tops, red bodies, and dark grey lower sections.
  • Jetpack body is painted predominantly grey with red vertical accents across the three middle tanks, black panel covering the center half of the three middle tanks, a smaller black panel across the outer tanks, and red accents on the upper outer tanks.
  • Thrusters must mount directly below the outermost tanks.
