All armor must be made of a material and thickness that is not distinguishable from screen used armor. Acceptable materials include, but are not limited to: 3d print, fiberglass, styrene, sintra or vac-formed ABS.
 
Armor and soft parts must be weathered where indicated in visual references. All soft parts and armor sizes are approximate and should be worn proportional to the wearer.

Helmet

  • Helmet must be a live-action Sabine Wren helmet, featuring symmetrical oval ear caps, a rangefinder, rear vent, distinct stylized paint, and a full T visor.
  • The left ear cap is of an oval shape.
    • Primarily burgundy in color, with dark gray edging.
    • There is a half oval detail. It features an upside down U in metallic silver that is filled in with burgundy.
  • The right ear cap is of an oval shape, symmetrical to the left.
    • Primarily burgundy in color, with metallic silver edging.
    • There is a metallic silver half oval detail, featuring a burgundy upside down U.
  • Rangefinder stalk is mounted in the right earcap.
    • RF stalk is metallic silver with a black topper.
    • RF topper has an embossed square detail on top and a recessed slot with a translucent lens for the viewfinder.
  • The rear vent is a panel with 5 descending rectangle louvres.
    • Louvre sizes should match visual references as closely as possible.
    • Vent features key slots on the bottom 3 louvres.
    • It is painted burgundy in color.
  • Helmet is primarily dark gray across the dome, rear brow band, and upper cheeks.
    • The lower cheeks and rear panel must be painted the same light gray.
    • The helmet features stylized Clan Wren markings in white, purple, burgundy, and blue that should closely match visual references.
    • The mandibles of the helmet are a burgundy color that are part of the stylized design.
  • T-visor must be black in color and dark enough to obscure the wearer’s face and eyes.

 
BRL Level Approval:

  • All helmet paint designs must be accurately painted onto the helmet. Decals are not permitted for Brigade approval.
  • Inner part of the rangefinder is opaque cast resin with a small black rectangle on the bottom.
  • Rangefinder stalk is made of metal.
  • Metallic silver pieces give the appearance of metal.

 

Flight Suit

  • The flight suit is a dark gray cotton or cotton blend, two piece garment that must fit snugly to the wearer.
  • The shirt features a mandarin style collar and a traditional Mandalorian double sleeve of matching material.
    • The mandarin collar is approximately 1in/2.5cm in height and leaves a 2 in/5cm opening at the front of the neck.
    • The top sleeves terminate at the top of the bicep.
    • The long sleeve extends past the gauntlet.
    • The shirt is worn tucked into the pants.
    • The front method of closure is concealed behind a panel that is of the same material and color as the shirt.
    • At minimum, the shirt must have decorative topstitching at the cuff of the top sleeve and around the elbow that are consistent with visual references.
  • The pants feature a high waist band and diamond-shaped gusset.
    • The diamond-shaped crotch gusset must be of a darker stretch fabric.
    • The method of closure for the pants is concealed with a front fly that is of the same fabric and color as the pants.
    • At minimum, the pants must have decorative top stitching that includes vertical topstitching down the front of the leg, horizontal topstitching around the knee, topstitching along the thighs as well as the seat of the pants.
  • A black ribbed-knit turtleneck is worn behind the shirt collar, fit snugly to the neck.

 
BRL Level Approval:

  • Shirt features screen accurate seams and decorative topstitching.
    • Has double topstitched princess seams, starting at the armpit and continues down the length of the shirt.
    • There are two parallel lines of top stitching that run from the armpit, across the collarbone, and down to the other armpit, connecting the princess seams in an upside down U. There are also two parallel lines of top stitching connecting the princess seams at the top abdomen.
    • Top sleeve of the shirt features 3 rows of topstitching at the bottom of the sleeve.
    • Bottom sleeves of the shirt have 5 rows of topstitching from the bicep down to the bend of the forearm.
    • The front method of closure is concealed behind a panel that is of the same material and color as the shirt, and features the same topstitching patterns.
    • The back of the shirt features a central panel that is darker in color than the rest of the shirt. The panel begins at the back of the collar and tapers down the back. Two parallel lines of top stitching are on either side of the panel extending from the shoulder to the bottom of the shirt.
  • Flight suit pants feature screen accurate seams and decorative topstitching.
    • Has a high-waisted band with a single row of top stitching around the circumference of the waist.
    • The method of closure for the pants is concealed with a front fly that is of the same fabric and color as the pants. It features a single row of top stitching on the left side of the fly.
    • Flightsuit pants must have parallel lines of top stitching centered on the leg and ending just above the knee on both the front and back of the pants.
    • Pants must have parallel lines of stitching centered on the front and back of the lower leg.
    • Backside of the pants features double horizontal topstitching around the knee up into the lower portion of the seat that connects to vertical topstitches on the backside of the suit.
    • The diamond-shaped crotch gusset and seat of the flightsuit pants is made of a stretch material, darker than the base color of the suit. Color must match on-screen references.

 

Vest

  • The vest must be made of the same material and color as the flight suit.
  • The flak vest is well-fitted to the wearer.
  • The collar and shoulder openings feature piping that is the same color and material as the flak vest and flight suit.
  • At a minimum, the vest features visible topstitching that is consistent with the references on screen.
  • The rear method of closure is covered by a panel of fabric that is of the same material and color as the flak vest.
  • The length of the vest should not greatly exceed or fall short of mid ribcage.

 
BRL Level Approval:
 

  • Seams and decorative topstitching on the flak vest are screen accurate.
    • The front of the vest must have double stitched princess seam topstitching that starts around mid-armpit and terminates at the end of the vest.
    • Princess seams on the vest must line up with the seam of the shirt and pants.
    • The bottom hem of the vest features four horizontal rows of topstitching around the circumference of the vest.
    • The rear panel of fabric covering the method of closure has four rows of decorative topstitching.
  • A seam begins at the neckline and terminates 2in/5cm down the length of the princess seams. Symmetrical to both sides of the vest.
  • A horizontal seam runs under the armpit, connecting the front and back halves of the vest.
  • The length of the vest must closely match on screen references.

 

Boots

  • Boots are black Chelsea style boots with a moderate tread and low profile heel.
  • Boots have no visible zippers or laces.

  • Boots are an acceptable replica.

 

Boots Covers/Gaiters

  • Boot covers are made from black leather or leather like material.
  • Gaiters do not cover the entirety of the boot and extend just past the ankle onto the top of the foot.
  • Visible seams are present on the outside of the gaiter and centered in the back.
  • A black strap runs under the boot.
  • Zipper is on the interior of the gaiter.
  • On the interior of the gaiter is a black triangular cut out just behind the zipper.

 
BRL Level Approval:

  • Boot covers and straps are made from leather.
  • Features a closure tab at the top inside of the boot cover.
  • Gaiter flares outward as it goes down toward the ankle and fits snugly over the boot.
  • Cutout at the base of the cover is triangular in shape with a rounded point.
  • Triangular cut out should be of a stretch material.

 

Gloves

  • Gloves are the same ribbed-knit black fabric as the neck covering.
  • Gloves are black and in the style of fingerless arm warmers.
  • The cuff of the gloves ends just before the start of the four fingers. There is no covering to the thumb or fingers.

Chest Armor

  • Consists of a solid upper chest plate with integrated diamond and an abdominal plate to match the live-action references.
  • Upper chest armor is symmetrical on both sides with a recessed strip in the center that is dark gray in color and features a lighter gray rectangle below the chest diamond.
  • The chest diamond is at the top center of the chest armor and is primarily orange in color. The diamond features a raised burgundy rectangle and a small silver inset that is also a rectangle in shape.
  • The diamond features 5 edges. Top of the diamond sits flush with the edge of the chest plates. The bottom portion of the diamond is angled into a point.
  • May be worn in one or two pieces with the abdominal plate.
  • The chest and abdominal armor feature princess style crease that must line up when worn as one or two pieces.
  • The recessed edge of the abdominal plate should be consistent with visual references for spacing and paint designs.
  • Chest plate is primarily painted a dark gray with stylized stripes in purple, orange, burgundy, and white to be consistent with references.
  • Abdominal plate is primarily painted a dark gray with stylized stripes in purple, orange, and white to be consistent with references.
  • The corner of the chest plates angle in towards the collar bone of the wearer, beginning below the armpit and ending at the top edge of the chest plate.
  • The upper chest armor features two angled rectangle cutouts symmetrical to both sides. The cutouts are inset with an orange transparent material.
  • Chest armor and abdominal armor should be securely attached to the vest without any visible method of attachment and fit contoured to the wearer.
  • Weathering and damage is consistent with the on screen references.

 
BRL Level Approval:

  • The chest cutout is back lit with lights that glow golden yellow.
  • Weathering and design closely match the on screen references.
  • Top of the chest diamond sits .25in/0.5cm below the edge of the chest plates.
  • The flat edge of the chest diamond should be mounted 1in/2.5cm below the collar of the flak vest.
  • Abdominal plate should extend 1in/2.5cm past the bottom of the vest.
  • The princess seams on the chest armor line up with the princess seams on the flak vest.

 

Back Armor

  • Edges of the backplate come straight down and angle out to make small fans along the small of the back.
  • A trapezoidal cutout must be present at the base of the backplate.
  • Backplate is painted a dark gray with stylized stripe details in purple, white, yellow, and burgundy that should be consistent with on screen references.
  • Backplate must be securely attached to the vest and sit flush to the wearer, not extending past the edge of the vest or touching the belt.
  • Backplate features rectangular slots over the shoulder blades.
  • The backplate slots are in the same color as the backplate and are strapped to the epaulette armor (see epaulette section).

Knee Armor

  • Knee armor is small oval shapes with flat ends that are situated securely on the knee cap.
  • Knee armor is attached to the flightsuit via a strap that is the same material and color as the flightsuit.
  • The right knee is burgundy in color with a trapezoidal inset detail.
  • The left knee is painted primarily dark gray with stylized yellow stripes.
  • Paint and weathering are consistent with on screen references.

Shin Armor

  • Must be firmly centered on the shin of the wearer and contour with the gaiter. Shin plate begins below the knee and extends down the length of the lower leg before flaring out to accommodate the boot and gaiter underneath.
  • Shins feature a trapezoidal cutout at the top of the shin and a more narrow trapezoidal cutout at the bottom.
  • The right shin is primarily gray and features the stylized stripes in white and burgundy.
  • The left shin is primarily gray with stylized yellow and burgundy stripes.
  • The boot armor is shaped to fit within the bottom trapezoid of the shin armor.
  • The boot armor curves with the top of the foot, is narrow at the top and flares out at the bottom.
  • The right boot armor is burgundy in color. The left boot armor features a continuation of the color design seen on the shin.
  • Paint and weathering should be consistent with on screen references.
  • Shin armor does not extend past the top edge of the gaiter.

Collar Armor

  • Epaulette style armor is worn on the collar area.
  • Epaulettes must contour to the wearer.
  • Epaulettes feature an angled edge towards the neck of the wearer.
  • Epaulette placement should be consistent with screen references.
  • A black strap runs underneath the epaulette armor and wraps around the hooks in the backplate, to give the appearance the epaulettes are connected to the backplate.
  • Left epaulette is painted black and purple to be consistent with references.
  • Right epaulette is painted burgundy and orange to be be consistent with references.

 
BRL Level Approval:

  • Epaulettes mount 0.5in/1.25cm from the top of the chest armor and line up with the outer edge of the chest armor.
  • The short edge of the epaulettes should be angled to the chest armor, with a 0.5in/1.25cm gap on the inner corner, and a 1in/2.5cm gap on the outermost corner.
  • Epaulette armor placement, fit, and design must closely match the on screen references.
  • Black straps are made of leather.

 

Shoulder Armor

  • Shoulder armor is the live-action design, featuring a curved bell shape and a two layered design that is offset on the sides.
  • Shoulder armor is mounted flush with the arm opening of the flak vest.
  • Shoulder armor is contoured against the wearer’s arm and is centered on the bicep.
  • Shoulder armor is shorter than the short sleeves of the flightsuit, ending just above the topstitching of the top sleeve.
  • The left shoulder is painted in a dark and light blue starburst pattern that does not extend to the offset sides.
  • Left shoulder armor features a yellow and purple purrgil design.
  • The right shoulder is primarily burgundy in color with a curved purple accent that extends onto the offset layer of the shoulder armor.
  • Right shoulder features a yellow circle with a burgundy Rebel symbol centered inside of it.
  • Paint and weathering should be consistent with on screen references.

Gauntlets

  • Both gauntlets are a clamshell style with no visible closure methods.
  • Gauntlets are primarily a medium metallic gray.
  • Both gauntlets feature yellow markings on the top platforms as well as stylized geometric feather designs on the interior and exterior aspect of the gauntlet.

 
Left Gauntlet

  • Left gauntlet has a raised platform that features a dark gray recessed square that slopes down into a rectangular platform.
  • The rectangular platform has a silver inset with mounting sinks.
  • There is a recessed rectangle on either side of the main platform featuring two square details towards the wrist of the wearer.
  • The main platform features a smaller weapon/interface platform with several integrated buttons. The foremost button is black with a blue trapezoidal light. The middle buttons feature 3 symmetrical buttons that light up red. The last button is a horizontal rectangle that is half red and half white lights.
  • A rectangular weapons platform is integrated from the top most gauntlet platform into the main platform.
  • The angled front of the main platform features 3 metallic silver darts.
  • The main platform features a yellow detail that travels along the outer edge of the top platform.

 
Right Gauntlet

  • The right gauntlet features a raised platform that slopes down into a rectangular platform.
  • The front rectangular platform is burgundy and has a dark gray inset with mounting sinks.
  • The main platform features a burgundy square paint detail towards the wrist.
  • On either side of the main platform is a protruding profile in a slightly curved shape.
  • The curved side profile features two small debossed ovals in a darker color and house a metallic silver flamethrower. This detail is symmetrical on both sides of the platform.
  • The side flamethrowers are symmetrical and consist of a stepped cylindrical shape with the narrowest part towards the wearer’s wrist.
  • The platform also features a vented profile with 8 slats.
  • On either side of the vented profile are long oval lights that are inset. The edging of the inset is a bright metallic silver. The lights should be centered on the long edge of the vent.
  • The vented profile houses a metallic silver weapon system, with a stepped cylindrical shape that is narrowest towards the wearer’s wrist.
  • The vented profile features a yellow detail towards the elbow of the wearer.

Belt

  • The live-action Sabine Wren belt features a parallel double belt structure, two holsters, and two rear pouches.
  • The belt is made from brown leather or leather-like material.
  • Top most belt is approximately 1in/2.5cm in width and is worn around the natural waist.
    • The top belt features a silver metallic center buckle with two vertical rectangles recesses.
    • A dark rivet secures the belt to the buckle on either side.
  • The secondary belt is approximately 1.5in/4cm and is worn at the top of the hip.
    • The secondary features a hexagonal belt buckle. The buckle features a bright silver finish with dark gray loops for the belt.
    • There is a silver metallic hook mounted to the secondary belt with a rivet, from which the lightsaber is mounted.
  • Holsters are worn symmetrically on both sides of the body.
    • Holsters are mounted onto a Y drop backing. The drop holsters connect to the secondary belt at the level of the hips in front and in back.
    • Holsters loop through the front hexagonal buckle and mount under the secondary belt in the rear with overlapping silver metallic hooks.
    • Holster straps are the same size as the secondary belt.
    • Holster straps feature a dark rivet near each loop.
    • Holsters terminate at mid thigh.
    • Holsters must fit the Live Action Westar Pistols snugly.
  • There are two pouches on the back of the belt.

Right Westar-35

Lightsaber

  • The power cell is metallic silver with four long boxes that form a cross at the bottom.
  • The power cell connects to a triangular ring.
  • Lightsaber features a black handgrip with raised vertical lines spaced 2mm apart.
    • The rear grip features shorter black vertical lines spaced 2mm apart.
    • The grip has a silver overlay mounted with a screw.
    • Centered on the silver grip overlay is a silver housing for the activation plate. The activation plate has 10 inset slats.
    • The silver grip overlay has a raised portion that features a red teardrop-shape activation lever that is held in place with a dark gray bolt. The lever is in line with the button on the grip.
  • The lens assembly is black and features four concentric rings, topped by a smaller gold metallic ring.
  • The focusing chamber is a black, narrow tube that leads into the silver metallic emitter matrix.
  • The matrix features increasingly smaller concentric circles and two silver guards.
    • One matrix guard should be taller than the other and feature a curved top edge.
  • Lightsaber is mounted on the secondary belt and is worn on the left hip.
  • Paint and weathering must be consistent with on screen references.
